ART STYLE BOARDS

Before designing anything the Concept Artist created art direction boards to show the way that the game should look and feel, this would help the Environment and Character Artists with texturing and the GUI artist with the Art Style, As well as showing the Team Leader the direction the Concept Artist wanted to move in. 

ARTIST INSPIRATIONS BOARD.

This board is showing different artists who use drawing styles that have inspired the concept artist and show the theory behind the vision of making this game look sketched and artistic, this style would in an ideal world be implemented into the textures throughout the game. It also includes a basic colour scheme that will be expanded on throughout the design process.

ARTISTIC STYLE BOARD.

This board shows more of Guy McKinley's work as well as the Concept Artists own personal work that will be implemented into the concept art and hopefully into the finished game.
